Sustainable design

Modularity

Most of our furniture is modular in design. This means that parts are interchangeable for various products and we can easily replace any broken parts of a product.

For example, the cross tubes of our tables have a modular design. We can use the same frame construction for every table, in any size. We can simply replace a defective part instead of replacing the entire product.

Timeless design

Sustainable design also means that we design products made from sustainable materials with a timeless design. Our chair 400 for example. Designed in the sixties and still a part of our chair range. The back and seat are made from sustainable wood and the frame is made from recycled steel. The chair exudes nostalgia, but is often used in modern and sustainable project designs.

LIFETIME

LIFETIME is our umbrella programme for extending the life span of our products. Either refurbished and reused in the same form, or as parts and components for new furniture. Because we have the furniture design as well as the engineering and production entirely in-house, we offer almost every possible method of giving furniture a second life. How does it work? Quite simple actually. After a thorough inspection, we take back used work tables, cabinets, drawer units, chairs and conference tables, after which our experts ensure that the furniture is completely renewed and efficient. Including technical, return and residual value guarantees after use.

For us, reuse is about assigning value to used raw materials. The circular cycle to which we are committed consists of the use of exclusively recycled materials and components.
