We have opened the Fair Furniture Academy at our location in Emmen.
The Academy is a training institute and knowledge centre for anyone interested in sustainable production, circular design and furnishing in line with the very latest methods and principles. From interior consultant and (interior) architect to facility manager, purchaser and health and safety advisor. As such, the Fair Furniture Academy is a knowledge centre for relations of all companies of the Fair Furniture Group. In addition to the educational function, the location is available to companies that are looking for a meeting place or a location to organise a seminar or (network) meeting.
We frequently organise events, workshops and knowledge sessions.

Workshop ‘Sustainable solutions’
How do you give substance to circularity? What are sustainable choices? What is involved in making circular raw materials? Do you recognise these questions? Then this workshop is definitely something for you.

Exhibition
The exhibition “Material as Design-Impulse” is showed in our Academy in Emmen for the next few months. Together with partner Plantics, we have guided several students during their project “Material as Design-Impulse” by Professor Bernd Benninghoff of Mainz University of Applied Sciences. The result is a beautiful exhibition that will be on display in our Academy in Emmen in the coming months.
Working landscape of the future
Over the past period, we have been fully committed to the development of GreenField 2.0, together with Snoek Puur Groen, among others. This is the 30,000 m2 large site next to our Circular Center in Emmen. The enormous wadi is connected to the municipal waterway and biodiversity has been restored. Hemp and flax have also been sown and various shrubs and fruit trees are planned.
