DigiBase – Nieuwegein

DigiBase is a new enterprise within VolkerWessels Bouw & Vastgoedontwikkeling (Building & Real estate development). DigiBase works toward making Digital Building commonplace to all of VolkerWessels and its clients and, if necessary, supporting and guiding them through the transition period. This is achieved by using training centres for Digital Building (Business Support), supporting facilities and digital services around Project Support and Business Development.

The building itself has been fitted as the ‘building of the future’. By using IoT systems and sensors, the air quality, temperature, humidity, lighting and more, can be measured and controlled.

A noteworthy feature is the project area, which features a large interactive touch wall. This wall can be used to share knowledge and encourage teams to work together.
