Sony Music Dublin

Entertainment giant Sony Music, who have a solid reputation for superior quality and style, approached Dublin-based office interior fit-out specialists Chawner & Trench to design a scheme that would blend their existing offices with some much-needed expanded floor space.

Part of the remit was to create a new flexible boardroom and reception area that gave the space an edgy vibe with oversized rock star images etched into glass panels and carpet sections that resemble huge vinyl records, while oversized glass pivot doors give staff and visitors a great view of the Dublin Mountains beyond.

Cleverly textured ceiling sections were chosen that echo the felt of our Be Hybrid chairs, which sit in front of framed portraits of some of the world’s music greats. The carefully curated furniture with black metal accents such as our Felt High chairs and Rack shelving are placed perfectly amongst mossy green fabrics and teak effect wood to make up a classically moody Mid-Century modern design.
